What is a Super Ticket? Super Tickets help fund films. Super Tickets grant access to content and experiences during production. Check out the Super Tickets currently on sale in the Box Office.

What is StudioDAO U.N.A? StudioDAO U.N.A. is an Unincorporated Nonprofit Association. When you buy a Super Ticket you receive a single non-transferable membership in StudioDAO U.N.A. You can sell or transfer your Super Ticket, but your membership in StudioDAO U.N.A. is non-transferable.

Do Super Tickets have utility? You betcha! Super Tickets grant access to content and experiences customized for each film. Examples include StudioDAO Greenlight Power, exclusive NFT mints, film credit, premiere invites, behind-the-scenes events, and our favorite, custom designed movie specific ice cream flavors with Studio super pal, Nicholas Morgenstern.

What does Greenlighting a film mean? Greenlighting is funding a movie. There are two ways to Greenlight a film on StudioDAO. You can support films directly by purchasing Super Tickets at the Box Office. Then you can vote on which film will receive a grant from the weekly Greenlight Vote.

What is Greenlight Power? Greenlight Power is fractional control and ownership of StudioDAO community assets. The primary use of Greenlight Power is voting to allocate the Greenlight treasury to films that are part of the collective. The utility of Greenlight Power will evolve as networks of films, filmmakers and fans expand.

How do I get Greenlight Power? When you support a film, in addition to your Super Ticket, you also receive Greenlight Power. If you want to maximize your Greenlight Power you can buy Greenlight Power directly from the StudioDAO U.N.A. Juicebox. The issuance rate of Greenlight Power is adjustable to incentivize community formation.

Who decides which movies StudioDAO makes? The core contributors are currently working to source the first 5 films for the DAO to fund. In time the DAO will vote to admit new projects for funding. We expect to move from core curated to DAO curation in 1H23.

Where do the movies come from? The movies come from two main places right now - our StudioDAO Backlot connections to filmmakers, managers and agents. And moving forward, movies will come from the whole world, as we develop a process for accepting and curating pitches.

Can I pitch a movie? Coming soon… we will open a process for pitching. All concepts will be reviewed by StudioDAO Backlot to validate that key criteria are met, plan is in place, team is real, budget syncs to plan. Once validated, the pitch moves to community vote for admission to the StudioDAO U.N.A. In time the entire validation process will move on-chain but we will achieve that together with the guidance of the StudioDAO community.

How do the movies make money and where does the money go? Filmmakers own their films and are free to sell it to Streamers and Distributors. StudioDAO U.N.A. retains the rights to provide viewing experiences for DAO members. When films generate revenue it is split 70% to the Filmmakers and 30% to the community. The 30% community share of the revenue is earmarked for the funding of films, creating a virtuous cycle.

What is StudioDAO Genesis, LLC? StudioDAO Genesis LLC is owned by StudioDAO U.N.A. and supports the need for StudioDAO U.N.A. to participate in contracts and transactions on behalf of the U.N.A. The services relationship between the UNA and Genesis are governed by an MSA between the two entities.

What is StudioDAO Backlot, LLC? StudioDAO Backlot, LLC is a for profit services company that supports the launch and development of StudioDAO U.N.A. The StudioDAO U.N.A. may, after 12 months of operation choose via proposal to extend, modify or cancel its relationship with StudioDAO Backlot and operate itself autonomously. The services relationship between the UNA and the Backlot are governed by an MSA between the two entities.

How does StudioDAO U.N.A govern itself? The U.N.A. will consider other measures of contributions as it relates to the awarding of Greenlight Power as desired by the DAO. The U.N.A. can also via vote upgrade the utility and tokenomics of Greenlight Power.
